Why did you end up in Rock Royale?
Have no idea! Maybe it was because I met Jussi in school of carpenters near Tampere and we found common interest in music beside wood - and of course there is this mental connect between bassist and drummer.. Jussi asked me to cover Ville in some RR gigs and I said yes.. After few gigs Ville decided to leave RR for good, so it was obvious place for me to become full time member. Rest is history in future.

Other bands you have played in?
Some. First couple bands were formed in my birth town Laitila - when I was ten years old or something - with no future but lot of enthusiasm in them. First "real" band with gigs and all was Those Slackers in Imatra which was formed by my cousin and couple of friends, and we even accomplished a tiny success - only in Imatra thou.. During this Those Slackers episode (or before it?) I moved to Tampere and were asked to play punk in childhood friends band The Reckless. With Reckless we played something bitween 50 and 100 gigs before guitarist/singer Miika moved back to Laitila, which was the dead of that fun project. But nou hätä! We were allready formed Bad Ass Destroyer with some of Slackers guys and that was also the time for me to move upper level to the mighty Rock Royale! Rest is mystory in future.

Bands/artists you dig?
Thousands if not gazillions of them, but here´s few (in random order): The Mars Volta; Sad Rockets; Mastodon; Blue Trash; Hellacopters; Tulenkantajat; Pantera; Tourniquet; Led Zeppelin; Them Crooked Vultures (and almost every project with Josh Homme or Dave Grohl in it); Kingston Wall; Selfindead; Twilightning; Chuck Berry; Witches; Helloween; Ruudolf; At the Drive-In; Extol; Leonard Cohen; Deep Purple; Mr. Big; Zook; Slayer etc. etc.... ...And almost every day I find more and more.. What can I say.. I LOVE GOOD MUSIC!

With what do you play with?
I have 70´s Ludwig Vistalite shells and Supraphonic snare (yes, the famous "Bonham-set", with smaller sizes thou) + `06 Acrolite snare. Cymbals are mostly made by Paiste. I especially like the Rude ones.
